Diese Woche schaffe ich es scheinbar doch so einige Dinge fertig zu stellen. In diesem Falle habe ich das System etwas intelligenter gemacht bezüglich der Anzeige von Videostreams aus externen Quellen. Hierbei war der Grundgedanke nicht nur eine einfache Integration von Youtube zbsp. sondern ich habe mich im allgemeinen mit den vorhanden Video Platformen befasst. Hier gibt es doch einige, die Unterschiede sind doch markant um alle zu unterstützen. Ich denke ich habe die Platformen integriert welche am meissten verwendet werden.
Video können auf zwei Wegen in Privaten Nachrichten, sowohl als auch natürlich in offiziellen Foren Posts integriert werden. Zunächst solltet ihr den einfachsten Weg wählen, hierfür postet einfach die URL / den Link zum Video. Das System ist so intelligent das es erkennen wird ob es sich um ein unterstütztes Format handel. Bei Vorschau und endgültigem Post Eurer Nachricht, wir automatisch der notwendige technische Umbau der Nachricht erledigt, welcher für Browser notwendig ist um zum Beispiel ein MyVideo oder Youtube Video anzuzeigen.
Im Falle dessen es nicht gelingt, so merkt ihr es daran wenn Euer Forumpost nur eine HTML Adresse (also das typische http: //xxxxx.yyyyy.zz) Format aufweist. Sollte dies der Fall sein gibt es eine weitere Möglichkeit. Ebenfalls wird ab sofort das Flash Format unterstützt. In diesem Falle einfach den "Flash" Button der BBCodes verwenden, oder manuell ein [Flash] vor die URL schreiben und ein [/Flash] dahinter. Auch in diesem Falle versucht das System die URL zu verarbeiten und den Flash Player mit den vorhandenen Daten zu integrieren. Somit können noch einige Videoformate angezeigt werden. Ansonsten unterstützt diese Funktion natürlich Standard Dateiformate von Shockwave wie zum Beispeil *.swf oder *.cf ... sind die beiden gängigen Flash Dateiformate.
Sollte am Ende alles nicht nützen, dann kurze Nachricht an mich. In dringenden Fällen müsst ihr aber dann schon mal schauen ob das eventuelle Video nicht doch in einem anderen Format zur Verfügung steht.
Übrigens, ab sofort könnt ihr auch Flash Formate in Eure Signaturen integrieren.

I finished the integration for video streams. From now on you can add video links to your private messages or public forum posts. I spent quite a lot of time to increase the "AI" of the system in order to recognize all the different video format. Investigating lots of different video portals available today, I made a list of the most important ones and believe I covered the main portals being used at present.
Tried to make the posting of video links as simple as possible and so you just need to include the URL to your video link in your message. While hitting the Preview or Post button, the system will automatically recognize the video URL and convert it technically into a readable format for your and other readers internet browser. So you will not see a link in your post but a typical video player, like you may know it from Youtube or MyVideo.
In case this will fail, you will just get your URL linked in your post and no video will be displayed. In this case there exist a second option. I added a new BBCode button called "Flash". Either using this button or manually editing your existing post and typing in front of your URL [Flash] and at the end of the URL [/Flash] will give you a second try to get the system doing some technical steps in order to convert your URL into a visible video. Of course this new Flash feature does support and is meant to integrate typical Flash files into your posts. Their most known extentions are *.swf and *.cf ... so if you got an URL ending into a flash movie, this will be your chance to implement it into your posts.
In case it all fails with your particular video file, do not hesitate to contact me. But basically you should check if you may get the video in a different - perhaps more common - format.
Btw., flash signatures are now possible and enabled as well.
Have fun with the new features, but please do not post hundreds or thousends of video links into the boards within the next 3-4 days !
